Would you like to create the Visual Design line for our internal software? Then join us now for a unique opportunity to build our internal visual UX from scratch and evangelise the discipline from a key role in a newly established team. Contribute to a great uniform user experience Joining a brand new UX team, you will help develop Visual Design Guidelines, build Visual Design competencies and create a Visual Design tool box across all platforms and applications. You will focus on driving Visual Design concepts in IT projects and collaborate closely with colleagues throughout the entire value chain to create awesome user experiences. By delivering Visual Design expertise and owning best practise within Visual Design development, you will: - Lead design efforts to produce visual concepts that support usability and interaction design as well as facilitate the adoption of the tools and methods of great Visual Design - Develop the visual identity of IT solutions as an integral part of the overall UX effort - Mentor the creation of clean modern design, incorporating clear visual hierarchy, readability and good use of contrast, colour, white space, etc. - Ensure that projects stick with the Visual Design Guidelines to create a uniform look and feel - Co-facilitate the adoption of new UX development processes by ensuring that the Visual Design supports the overall user experience - Teach and disseminate your vast knowledge in Visual Design within the organisation and train the people around you within your field of expertise Make an impact through great UX Along with a Senior UX Architect, a Senior User Researcher and the rest of the UX team, you will play a key part in building the field by driving the visual UX agenda throughout the Corporate IT organisation. Persistent, convincing and innovative Visual Design Expert with great communication skills You will be challenged on your ability to create Visual Guidelines that cover a vast array of user groups for our various software systems on multiple platforms. Moreover, to establish Visual Design as a discipline and assist in the Corporate IT change management journey will be an interesting task, and to facilitate this you probably: - Hold a master in design, medialogy or similar combined with a solid theoretical foundation in Visual/Graphic/Digital Design and solid experience in mobile, desktop and web platforms - Have a track record of disseminating knowledge and leading the strategic direction gained through 5+ years of experience with Visual/Graphic/Digital Design, probably in a design agency or similar - Are experienced in creating style guides, iconography and possibly also animations, just as you have developed complete digital design concepts across platforms, embracing responsive design - Speak and write English effortlessly and are a super user of the Adobe Suite, Sketch and similar common design tools - Are an excellent communicator and experienced facilitator who knows how to drive the design process and achieve results Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global community where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment.
