Can you drive optimisation and development of processes for freedom-to-operate and appropriate intellectual property protection? Then your next job could be as our IP Paralegal at Danfoss Business Systems in the Intellectual Property Administration department. Working with committed colleagues, your job will be to increase the global effectiveness within the department and promote best practice for IP processes and tools. Establish standard IP processes with a business-oriented approach Your objective will be to drive the optimisation and development of IP processes according to our ongoing Proactive IP Initiative. You will follow up and support our IP consultants and ensure maintenance of our IP portfolio and governance activities throughout the entire patent lifecycle. Moreover, you will administer the non-technical casework in pending IP cases. Your key tasks will e.g. be to: •Proactively drive IP activities and projects •Prepare various process analyses (e.g. value stream tools) and provide improvement suggestions •File and prosecute IP applications •Analyse and update data in the case management system •Handle e-mails – sorting, calculation and reporting due dates, archiving, etc. You can look forward to a job in an ever changing environment where there are always new tasks to be solved. Service-minded team player with strong analytical skills and a creative mind-set You have a relevant educational background and some years’ experience both as a project coordinator and a patent paralegal, topped with a paralegal certification, e.g. QIPA. You are experienced in electronic filing of IP applications to the relevant authorities and are a skilled user of IP management systems and the MS Office package. Keeping a sense of perspective and an adequate ability to sit tight and keep calm in a hectic workday with many deadlines are some of your strong suits, and due to your strong drive, you know exactly how to focus your efforts. You have the skills to communicate in a clear language and are known for your ability to work both cross-organisationally and cross-culturally. With your energy and drive for performance, you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome. Last but not least, you master English fluently, both in writing and speech.
