Do you want to shape the future state middle office IT platforms in Capital Markets? And do want to have a big impact on the way Nordea Capital Markets operate? The position we offer We are building Nordea Capital Markets next generation Middle Office IT solutions: doing reactive data processing to fulfil needs of liquidity management, accounting, P/L, statutory reporting and controlling frameworks. We are currentlt looking for a Solution Architect to actively drive the design, development and rollout of new solutions. The role includes both driving the project inside the team making sure everything and everyone is aligned, but also a significant part of the role is interacting with stakeholders: Product owners, Business owners, other development team, Enterprise Architecture and PMO. You will be part of an informal and strong development team building services and systems using Java and industry standard tools and methodologies. We use agile processes in small teams in close corporation with our business owners. You will need to lead in a team of equals, by setting a good example for others, and continuously raising the bar. In other words, talking the talk is not enough here; you also need to walk the walk. The qualifications you need We are looking for a dedicated Solution Architect. To be successful in this role we expect: •At least 3 years Solution Architecture experience in complex organisation(s) •Good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills •At least 5 years of experience working with modern Java frameworks and open source tools •Experience in building data processing systems that handles large amounts of data and interfaces with multiple other systems reliably •Fluency in oral and written English is a prerequisite •A master’s degree in engineering, computer science or have other relevant background You probably hold a TOGAF or similar certification. If you don’t already know the Capital Markets domain, we expect you to learn quickly. You are familiar with the core Java framework, Maven, Spring, Databases, SOA, Tomcat/Weblogic, Eclipse/IntelliJ, unit testing, distributed version control etc. Furthermore, you have a provable track record on building java server applications of high quality in terms of: maintainability, supportability, correctness, testability, scalability, adaptability, security and performance. You will be part of a team that has both Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers and testers, as well as DevOps in our sister organisation.
