Do you have a passion for working professionally with end user devices and printer solutions? And would you like to participate in building and operating the future user centric IT experiences within Grundfos? Then join us to create new IT experiences that incorporate business needs and end user behaviour to optimise a large, global organisation. You will join the Information Services (IS) User Experience Center, where we create the future IT client user experiences for the entire Grundfos organisation. Also, we operate and develop the current standardised IT client setup. You become part of a team of 11 colleagues, who are located in both Bjerringbro (DK) and Manila (PH). The position is based in Bjerringbro and you refer to Manager, Henrik René Jensen. “You join a global team of 11 skilled colleagues with solid experience in the field. You enter an international environment where you will be challenged on a daily basis and receive competent sparring,” Henrik explains. What is the job about? As our new System Engineer Specialist, you administrate our hardware portfolio and set the agenda for our choice of future end user devices. This entails developing global standards as well as lifecycle management for end user devices and printers. Additionally, you participate in IS projects and activities related to end user devices and printers, including setup of print infrastructures. You will also be involved in other activities in the IS User Experience Center. Recently, we have completed activities such as SCCM 2012 upgrade and Windows 8.1 client setup. Current activities include building a new Windows 10 client setup and introducing a new hardware ordering setup. Moreover, you work with stakeholder and vendor management, and you communicate about end user devices and printers through presentations, newsletters, etc. “You will be working with a full portfolio of end user products for internal users. Sometimes we take in new models of well-known products – in other situations you are deeply involved in introducing brand new products, defining user roles and contributing to projects with your technical know-how. Often, it is a challenge getting the timing just right, so collaboration and coordination is a major part of the job,” Henrik says. What do you need to apply? In this role, we do not expect you to be an expert in all areas from day one, as long as you want to keep learning and develop your skill set. Knowledge of end user devices is an absolute plus as is experience with stakeholder management and communication, lifecycle management and ITIL. Preferably, you have some experience with printer management, as this is part of your responsibilities. Perhaps you hold a degree as a data technician or you have an administrative profile with IT proficiency.
