As part of the Innovation & Architecture organization you will enable the line organization to take the technological development to the next level. We aim to strengthen the collaboration with our suppliers and public institutions such as Technical Universities and EU funding’s, in order to initiate and drive major innovation projects. The right candidate will have either a technical education and 5-10 years’ experience driving complex innovation projects in a multi stakeholder environment or a commercial/project manager education and 5-10 years ‘experience within innovation and innovation portfolio management. Responsibilities: •You will ensure business driven innovation by setting clear innovation targets linking to our innovation strategy and ensuring thate the right ideas are selected. •You will be responsible for defining and refining metrics for filtering ideas and inventions, ensuring a clear link to business impact, and forto providinge a portfolio overview of the ideas in the early selection phase. •You will set up the metrics, and a competitive scoreboard must be created and maintained. Benchmarking both on technology, products, R&D capability and spend will be KPI´s for the filtering criteria. •Further you will insure state of the art innovation management methods and processes making the line organization select the right projects and secure a feasible resource allocation. •The line management will be responsible for the final selection but you are the facilitator,- securing a clear process for making the scoreboard and filtering, setting the “innovation culture” and securing a strategic aligned project pipeline. Qualifications: •You have a relevant Master degree •You have been exposed to a variety of engineering disciplines and competencies •You have proven experience in managing teams or projects in cross-functional international organizations. •Preferably you have some experience with IPR strategy development Personality: •You are structured, open minded and self-motivated •You have a proactive and extrovert personality and excellent communication skills. •You have strong business acumen as well as customer focused influencing skills. •Decision making ability based on a cooperative approach What we offer: We offer you an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic work environment, where you will have the possibility to impact Vestas' future way of working.
