Grow your stakeholder management skills

Within our engineering department in Billund, we have an Elements & Moulds division dedicated to providing the moulds used in our production facilities worldwide. Here you will join the External Mould Manufacturing team responsible for sourcing injection moulds from external partners.

Working closely together with the supplier development specialists in the team, each responsible for a geographical region, you will execute many tasks that are vital to the different supplier projects of the team.

Concretely, you will:

- Track and report lead time and delivery performance of supply partners and secure right actions for improvements when needed

- Secure right supply capacity in close cooperation with supplier development specialists and Procurement

- Support supplier development specialists with assessment and training of suppliers to ensure correct quality standards and technical capabilities

- Partake in ensuring knowledge sharing between internal customers, such as our production facilities and suppliers

- Explore opportunities for cost reductions and report them to the supplier development specialists and other stakeholders

You will be the dedicated partner for, and report to, this manager, and the manager will likewise become your mentor, guiding you on your way to becoming a part of the next generation of supplier development specialists.

Toolmaker with a passion for innovation

You are likewise always drawn to innovation and to learning more. Therefore, you have the curiosity to pursue opportunities that may provide long-term business value and soak up all new information that you come across.

Moreover, you bring:

- 3+ years of experience as a toolmaker, tool designer, mould developer, technical engineer or the like

- At least 1 year’s experience with project management as a manager, assistant or the like, or alternatively, some knowledge of project management gained through your studies

- Fluent communication skills in English

- The ability to travel up to 60 days per year to collaborate with customers and suppliers

- Preferably, knowledge of the LEGO® value chain and a degree in management, toolmaking or technical engineering, although it is not a must
