For our Business Administration team in Aalborg we are looking for a Business Controller focusing on accounting topics and special projects regarding process improvements. It will be your job to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and establish guidelines on financial topics as well as working on special projects with the aim of improving existing processes and shaping and implementing new ones. What are my responsibilities? · Coordinate and monitor monthly/quarterly/yearly closing processes in the plant · Drive process improvements and document processes · Ensure compliance with plant related SOA regulations · Review balance sheet incl. reconciliation on a monthly basis · Determine and initiate G/L postings · Ensure correct capitalization of fixed assets, lead and coordinate fixed asset count · Determine the method of accounting for new business transactions · Prepare and implement accounting/controlling related guidelines · Provide training on accounting related topics · Ad hoc tasks in the area of accounting/controlling What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling · You have a Big4 accounting and/or Internal Audit background with 4+ years of experience · You hold strong project management skills · You have a superior knowledge in accounting (IFRS, local GAAP) and on controlling tools · You have great presentation skills · You have an open minded approach to people and a high degree of intercultural awareness. · You hold strong English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
