For our Procurement Methods Processes Systems (MPS) team we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager for Supplier Claim "Cost Recovery Projects" within Supplier Claim Management. The MPS team defines standards and provides tools to support the global procurement activities of Siemens Wind Power. We understand professional Claim Management towards suppliers as an integral part of the procurement function and have defined the framework for division-wide claim handling. Members of this central team facilitate claims along the defined process, including the cross-functions as well as provide legal support. What are my responsibilities? The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for completion of all commercial and legal tasks in line with deadline, cost and quality requirements in a Cost Recovery Project of category C, D or E within the department. Define and follow up actions to ensure such classification (involvement of SQM and TE for root cause analysis). Analyze NCC reported by the respective bearers (PM, SCM, PI, Service) on a monthly basis and/or project by project. Facilitating technical claims clarification with the cross-functions (Technology, Quality Management and Supplier Quality Management) and ensuring formal involvement of the respective supplier. Correct booking and evaluation of all NCC and recovery related financials. Define and align with the cross functions (Engineering, Product Integrity, SCM, QM&EHS, Projects). What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a university degree/profound education in the area of Business Administration or finance (BBA, MBA or similar). You have at least 2 years working experience in the area of Project Management and financial execution of international projects. You show intercultural experience. Wide knowledge in MS Office and familiar with SAP is essential. You are fluent in English; additional language skills would be a plus. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
