For our Quality Management and EHS department in Brande we are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Quality Engineer to develop, drive and support quality performance management and drive implementation of Zero Harm and Zero Defect Culture in Supply Chain Nacelle. What are my responsibilities? · Drive implementation of Zero Harm and Zero Defect Culture · Complete and manage quality deliverables in New Product Development projects · Develop, drive and support quality performance management in Supply Chain Nacelle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) · Drive non-conformance cost reduction through effective root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures · Ensure product compliance to quality requirements in New Product Development projects acting as support to designers · Ensure effective non-conformance management through cross-functional collaboration · Initiate and drive Quality improvement projects using Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D or similar · Implement Siemens Wind Power’s divisional and Supply Chain Nacelle specific quality processes and standards by encouraging close cooperation and team work at all levels · Provide expert support to the Supply Chain Nacelle factories · Develop, implement and document quality processes and standards in the Integrated Management System · Contribute to the development and implementation of the quality strategy in Supply Chain Nacelle in close collaboration with interfacing functions like project execution, supplier quality or engineering · Develop training materials and execute trainings related to quality · Support and align with other Siemens Wind Power quality functions in all aspects of quality, especially related to manufacturing · In this position travel activities, especially to the Supply Chain Nacelle factories, are to be expected What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, quality engineering or similar combined with several years' experience within quality management in manufacturing and assembly in the wind or heavy machinery industry or similar · Preferably you hold a generally approved professional project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2, PMI, PMP, IPMA certification) · You have significant experience in new product developments · You have experience with quality systems and tools preferably with certification · You excel in problem solving techniques and root cause analyses leading to prevention of non-conformities · Furthermore, you have advanced knowledge of quality standards in incoming and final inspection, component storage, surface treatment, component assembly and transportation · You have experience with designing solutions and implementing process improvements along the entire value chain · In your previous role, you have proven to drive quality performance improvement across multiple locations and countries · You have proven experience in influencing people and changing culture · You have knowledge about management systems according to ISO 9001/14001/18001 · You have knowledge about quality and EHS investigation techniques · You work well within IT systems (e.g., non-conformance management) and are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel · As a person, you are outgoing, decisive, proactive, change oriented and have a result and quality oriented approach to your assignments · As a person, you are diplomatic and able to motivate people around you both within your own department but also within an assembly factory · You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing · You have a structured approach, work well with processes, and are able to stand firm with your principles · Besides this, you have the ability to interact at all levels
