Become a value adding finance business partner As Business Controller, you join Engineering & Quality (E&Q) and Reporting, which supports 8 areas across the entire E&Q department. Building a close relation to the Elements & Moulds Finance Business Partner, you will work together to deliver financial information and analyses for several areas with specific focus on one main area. Together, you ensure that the area is on track from a financial perspective. In particular, your tasks will include: Supporting financial processes and ensuring they are executed according to LEGO® Group governance guidelines Being responsible for month-end closing processes and ensuring quality and timeliness in closing and reporting Supporting project managers in creating business cases and providing financial support to E&Q projects Providing technical and financial support to the warehouse management system in terms of SAP and BW Delivering ad hoc analyses, providing input and participating in key Projects Connected community In a culture that is famous for collaboration and creativity, you will provide financial insight and help enable sustainable value creation. To begin with, you will work on tasks that benefit the entire team in order to gain a foundation on which to build your Finance Business Partner role. You will reach out and develop networks within your Business Unit and the business at large. This will give you a deep insight into - and thorough understanding of - a wide range of processes in E&Q. Good communicator with excellent finance skills The key to success in this position is to a large degree your approachable personality and willingness to proactively reach out to the business and gain their trust. And you do this by listening, advising and providing value adding sparring.
