Do you have a passion for working with Compliance on a global scale? Are you looking for a position where you will proactively take part in ensuring that the Vestas group has a high level of internal control and risk management using the SOX framework? If yes – then you may be the candidate that we are looking for in our Global Compliance department at Vestas. CFO/Tax & Compliance/Compliance The position is placed in the Global Compliance department which is part of Vestas' CFO organization. The Compliance department proactively identifies and mitigates risks to financial reporting. Our objectives are to have internal processes and controls in place globally, ensure mitigation of financial and reputational risks, be able to pass audits and to ensure a safe whistle-blower environment. Responsibilities: As Compliance Specialist, Finance process, you will report to the Head of Compliance and together with the rest of the team work to create awareness and understanding of finance processes and controls. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to improve and maintain Vestas Global Governance structure for finance processes, controls and applications, ensure a framework of finance processes, control governance set-up and ensure that SOX standards are implemented and that segregation of duties are satisfactorily implemented. Furthermore, you will handle process and control evaluation, design, development, set requirements and ensure business alignment. You will also handle global implementation and effectiveness testing of controls and processes. Finally, you will participate in projects where compliance awareness is needed and at all times incorporate knowledge about risk. Qualifications: Skills required: Master of Business Administration. Experience as Auditor or Internal Auditor for international companies. In-depth understanding of risk and materiality in a global organization. CISA and SOX experience.
