Bring characters and entire universes to life with your pen As part of a creative team, your goal is to define the future of play for boys and girls. Your role is to conceptualise new play and experience concepts through illustrations and developing different characters, background art and the associated visual universe. Storytelling through drawing is your main focus, and you will work from sketch to final illustration. As such, you: Cooperate closely in teams with design leads to develop concepts, which might form the foundation for new product development Conceptualise new characters and universes that appeal to, inspire and excite girls and boys Define what works for the target audience, how can we best tell the story that leads to new cool product experiences Present your solutions to our internal customers and in general contribute with creative ideas and illustrations to the team You will join the Consumer Marketing Agency, which is the LEGO Group´s in-house full-service ad agency located in Denmark, the US and China. We are involved in all aspects of communication development - from strategy and concept development, to the graphic execution of on and off-line materials. 90% of the LEGO Group's global marketing campaigns have our signature on them. You will join an energetic creative team of concept developers; art directors and concept artists working out of Billund, Denmark Everyday innovation Creativity is the ability to come up with ideas and things that are new, surprising and valuable. Story-telling backbone and Adobe aficionado You will be challenged on your ability to quickly visualise raw ideas in order to create fantastic new universes that appeal to children. In order to facilitate this, you: Love everything about storytelling - and you are into all kinds of stories - from film to comic books Probably have a background from an animation school, however most important is that you master your drawing skills and are able to visualise new stories and concepts Are driven by change and are always ready to try something new Speak and write English effortlessly to be able to cooperate in our diverse international department You have great layout skills and can draw both a quick conceptual sketch and a well-constructed dynamic sketch, and you master both the pen and Photoshop Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
