Then you might be the Data Protection platform owner we are looking for in Nordea. "Making it possible" is the mission of Nordea and it means being prepared for fast implementation and new demands. The position we offer As Data Protection platform owner in Nordea you will be responsible for setting the direction for the Data Protection domain in terms of architecture and roadmap. You will be working closely with Subject Matter Experts, platform peers (e.g. servers, storage and network) infrastructure architects and Enterprise architects to develop and maintain the absolute best in class data protection platform supporting the top tier business critical applications within Nordea. When you are working with the subject matter experts your responsibilities will be to secure we are one the right track to have efficient infrastructure. One of your other responsibilities will also be to secure migration to new technologies, evaluates capacity needs and processing performance related to Data Protection, forecasts financial and physical resource needs to meet established objectives. Further, you will be driver for the direction for the infrastructure regarding the Data Protection platform. Assesses the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future Nordea infrastructure needs and projects. Interfaces with the application services units to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. As part of Nordea Production Engineering Midrange (PEM) you will be challenged and we expect you to be innovative and prepared to radically rethink how we work today. Our mission is to provide stable, cost effective, timely and flexible shared infrastructure adding value to Nordea's competitive advantage by providing a reliable and flexible IT infrastructure. Infrastructure also provides IT security - handling for instance security issues and negotiations with our vendors. We wish to obtain synergies between Infrastructure and Operation and will continuously focus on cooperation so we jointly can provide the utmost services to the business. The qualifications you need We are looking for a colleague who is ready to be part of a skilled team that is working on developing the data protection platform with the aim of being able to deliver world class platforms. You are experienced with this area and have a proven track record in scoping, delivering and implementation of enterprise solutions as well as advocating technical solutions to technical and business owners. Other preferred qualifications for the job: - TSM and NBU knowledge is of preference - Deduplication Appliances and Tape Libraries - At least five years of experience designing, implementing or managing complex infrastructure environments - Strong experience in establishing credibility in a Platform owner role or similar role You are flexible, pragmatic and have a holistic view and respect the work of others and understand different approaches to changes between different departments. You possess a strong drive and you are eager to deliver quality solutions on time and enjoy exploiting new knowledge as well as driving innovation.
