We are looking for a Production Engineering Manager to lead and develop our production engineering department, which performs tasks in connection with production preparation, production Support, creation and maintenance of master data in our ERP system, implementation of projects in the factory and maintenance of machinery. As Production Engineering Manager you will be responsible for eight employees in the Decanter factory in Søborg. You will be a part of the Decanter factory management team where your closest collaborators will be Production, Quality, Production development, Purchasing and Logistics. Key responsibilities include •Take care of the daily management and development of the department, including setting up goals for the department and the individual employees •Responsible for the development of new methods within CNC machining, welding and assembly •Responsible for optimization of new and existing product specifications in collaboration with Production and Product Development •Ensure daily dialogue and communication between Production and Product Development •Responsible for establishing basis of decisions in connection with investment plans in the factory •Overall responsible for the projects in the factory, related to implementation of new production technologies •Represent the factory in product development projects and be responsible for compliance with schedules as well as ensuring that products are optimized acc. to the available technologies in our production facilities •Contribute to the development of a flexible production that continuously reduces production costs, storage costs, setup times and lead time Personal profile •You are a proactive leader and team-player who possesses a great drive and impact •You have the ability to keep several balls in the air, and you are good at involving others in your decisions •You have an analytical mind, are structured and like to follow things through to completion •You are ambitious and interested in making a career in an international company •A sense of humour and a surplus of mental resources •Will and energy to engage others and yourself •Good networking skills with ability to build and maintain close relations on all levels Professional qualifications •You have a relevant technical degree such as P- or M-Engineer •Solid background from the production environment where especially machining, welding and assembly have been the primary areas •You have a thorough knowledge of machining technology in stainless steel as well as knowledge of CNC programming •Experience in TIG welding, Lean/Six Sigma and the basis for calculating standard times in the machining industry will be an advantage •Master English, written and spoken We can offer you •An independent job with a variety of challenges in a high paced environment characterized by many stakeholders and ever changing conditions. •International business climate and the ability to directly impact our performance towards our customers and the company’s bottom line. •An informal team culture characterized by high performance and team-spirit. •A compensation package which meets your qualifications.
