About The department You will be a part of a department where millions of Penfill® is filled for patients all over the world. The department consists of 100 dedicated employees distributed in 7 teams. LEAN is prioritised highly, the lines of decision-making are short and we value cooperation and openness. In our department managers are visible, present and available to the employees. Our purpose is to make sure that we at all times deliver the agreed quality according to laws and regulations and that we are on time. We deliver both existing products to the market but we are also entry point of new products ramping up. The job You will play a key role in the department by leading our Support team of 16 highly committed and specialised employees with various technical and/or academic background. You will be responsible for securing that our production line is in compliance at all times. This means that you will be accountable for all processes that have any influence on our production. Based on this you will also be responsible for continuously improving and developing our processes, so we keep up with demands and regulations. You will work closely with your team to maintain a high level of drive and commitment so that we perform well together in order to deliver the best possible support to the production. With visible leadership, sparring and coaching you create a culture where everyone is ready to challenge methods, systems and processes and continuously make them better, smarter and faster. You will have the overall view of the team and where you are going which means that you evaluate performance and set the direction. The tasks are of high complexity and require that you are a sparring partner to your employees, as well as to your management colleagues in your own and other departments. You will work closely with your Director focusing on creating unity in the department and securing the long-term strategic direction. Qualifications Most likely you have an educational background within science. You either have several years of experience with management, or experience as a project manager/specialist from either production or support area. Additionally, it is an advantage if you have knowledge about GxP regulated production. The job requires equal focus on professional competencies and management, including fast decision making. Furthermore, the job requires a high level of structure and systematics in order to have an ongoing overview of the production, the tasks and the team. Thus knowledge about LEAN will be an advantage. It is crucial that you are able to motivate and engage your employees, preferably through your own strong commitment. You exude calmness and control which causes your many stakeholders to trust in you as being professional and trustworthy, and that the employees want to follow you.
