Graduate in IT – Capital Markets Nordea Capital Markets runs one of the largest IT operations in the Nordics. Using leading edge technologies, we develop high performance real-time systems, processing a large number of transactions daily, and supporting hundreds of users distributed across our offices world-wide. In order to meet the demands of our partners in the Nordea Capital Markets division, we are looking for 5-10 exceptionally talented graduates. The successful candidates are up for a 2-year challenge, packed with opportunities and problems waiting to be solved. From your first day, you will be part of one of our teams delivering technology solutions to Nordea’s business. During the two years, you will be working in 2-3 different roles in the various sub-divisions of IT - Capital Markets, in addition to tenure in one of the Capital Markets business units. This will allow you to obtain a broad understanding of what IT - Capital Markets is all about and give you a privileged position to really make a difference. You will be offered a series of training opportunities to support your professional and personal development. The Nordea Graduate Programme The Nordea Graduate Programme is a talent programme focusing on your professional development in terms of technical expertise, business knowledge, employeeship and personal growth. The general part of the programme runs for 1 year and consists of four international seminars where you meet fellow graduates from different countries and different parts of Nordea. You also have regular meetings with your mentor. In addition to this, you will spend time training on the job and participate in business area specific activities which will give insight into the value chain in which you belong. Curious, analytical and structured We are looking for talented individuals who are about to graduate from a major university with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar. You should possess world-class technology skills, strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication- and leadership skills. The environment in which we work is truly fast-paced and ever-changing. We look for individuals who are able to excel and serve as a catalyst in these conditions. You must be passionate about technology and have proven strong IT development skills. Experience with C++, C#, Java, Oracle or other languages and databases is essential. Knowledge of the concepts of high-performance systems development and experience with Python, Unix, Open Source technologies, grid computing, Agile and functional programming is an advantage.
