As a Design Manager, you will be involved in handling equipment and project specific transport for the. Moreover, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of our equipment and influence design concepts and methodologies. What are my responsibilities? • Interface and expectation management with internal/external clients, suppliers and end users • Development of product requirement specifications • Development and management of schedules from design through de-mob of equipment • Assurance of completeness for equipment documentation packages • Understanding transport, logistics, and supply chain as it pertains to equipment supply scope • Addressing technical issues and queries during the equipment lifecycle What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering combined with a strong technical background. Preferably you have experience from the along shore and offshore business or similar industries with storage and handling of large components on harbor quaysides and vessel. As a person, you are action-oriented, take ownership of tasks, well-structured and able to create and maintain an overview of complex tasks. At the same time, you have a positive mindset and are good at networking, and you possess excellent English skills, orally as well as in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
