Do you have solid management experience from Operations/Supply Chain and can you lead through others? Then this is an excellent opportunity to lead the European operations for a very successful business unit with a high growth rate and large potential. For you as an experienced leader, this is also an opportunity to lead a production site with approximately 180 employees and become overall operational responsible for our plant in Slovakia. Lead operations for our PVG business unit in Europe The PVG business unit is part of Danfoss Power Solution’s Controls division, and you will be responsible for all operational activities within the PVG business unit in Europa. This includes being Director of Operations for our Nordborg plant and having the P&L responsibilities for Nordborg and our plant in Slovakia. Your focus will be on the daily operations, including securing high quality and safety level, timely deliveries as well as continuously focusing on lead time and cost efficiency. You have 4 Production and Supply Chain Managers in Nordborg and the Director of Operations in Slovakia reporting directly to you. Further, you are a member of the Global PVG Management team. As Director of Operations for Nordborg, you act as the informal leader for the Plant Management team, where Engineering, Sales and Procurement will have an indirect report to you. Further, it will be your responsibility to: •Develop and execute the overall operation strategy for PVG Europe •Continuously develop and optimise the organisational setup and processes •Lead a cross-functional management team for the Nordborg plant Experience leading through others within Operations/Supply Chain •You have a minimum of 3 years’ management experience within Operations and/or Supply Chain •Your current position is probably as Plant Manager, Director or similar, looking for more responsibility in an international setting •You have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including LEAN manufacturing and quality tools As a person you are self-driven and we are looking for someone who can take the initiative to help grow a successful business area. Also, when leading through others in a matrix organisation, you need to be able to motivate and influence employees and stakeholder in a positive manner.
