Are you an experienced electrical or software engineer with solid experience in network setup and network operation? Join us and become Senior Network Engineer in the Electrical and SCADA department. The department consists of 10 highly skilled engineers and is responsible for all electrical and SCADA-related aspects of operating a wind farm. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1,800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling to our locations in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •be responsible for the integrity of our data network at all the Group's offshore wind farms in Denmark, Germany and the UK •handle network setup and configuration as well as handle various fault cases in the network •ensure that a maintenance plan is developed and operational within the technical area •lead the work on the data network connecting the turbines to the general network through our off- and onshore substation •handle, together with two SCADA colleagues, all technical aspects of the network as well as SCADA-related work at the Group's offshore wind farms. Furthermore, your duties will include coordinating FAT/SAT tests with local wind farms, offering onsite support and being responsible for IT/OT architectures and SCADA upgrades. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have a relevant bachelor or master's degree supplemented with extensive knowledge of and practical experience with developing and proactively maintaining data networks •are familiar with patching, jumphosts, routing, firewall configuration, user administration and operation strategies for networks •are able to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external partners •are able to act independently and proactively in challenging situations. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. It is an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well.
