We are looking for a Divisional Category Manager for Danfoss Procurement (DP) – Business Area Power Solutions. DP is responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities on behalf of our factories and across our global categories. It will be your mission to develop and implement divisional category strategies and be the Divisional Category Manager for the business area Power Solutions in relation to finished components. The department is truly international and you will have team colleagues in US, CN, GER, DK, SLO among others. You will be referring to our Head of Category Finished Components. Develop and implement category strategies The job will enable you to identify and orchestrate implementation of global and regional saving programs and drive consolidation projects within identified synergy areas across the finished product category. You will have a wide interface with both internal and external stakeholders and play a central role in creating impact and changes for Danfoss. As our new Divisional Category Manager, you will be responsible for making stepwise changes by developing and executing the category strategies in full compliance with the global strategy and supply chain needs. Furthermore, you will prioritise your activities in a complex and fast-paced organisation – as well as navigating in a matrix organisation. Your key tasks will be to: •Deliver savings and process efficiencies through execution of projects and negotiations with suppliers •Negotiate contracts like supplier quality manual, FWA etc. •Participate in optimisation of logistics parameters like OTD, lead time etc. •Develop and implement the divisional corporate category strategies •Initiate and drive cross divisional cost reduction and optimisation projects •Ensure full utilisation of internal synergies Strong negotiation skills and hungry “go-getter” You are characterised by being a proactive self-starter with high drive, ambitions and a positive can-do attitude. You have a relevant commercial educational background combined with solid experience in managing stakeholder and supplier relationships and project managers. Furthermore, you have experience from direct procurement areas and/or category management from an international company. On top of this, you are proactive and used to communicate with many stakeholders regionally. You are analytical and work both independently and in cross functional teams. It is essential that you are result-oriented and that you have strong negotiation skills. You are also good at leading change and prioritising. You master English at negotiation level, have diplomatic skills and are a good communicator at all levels.
