Experienced Contract Specialist with a Commercial Focus

ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel A/S are looking for a contract specialist to proactively take the lead in building up and participating in sales and project related contract developments. You will be responsible for ensuring that bidding, negotiation, and execution of commercial contracts are in compliance with company policies, legal requirements and other government and customer regulations. This will happen in close corporation with, and under guidance from, our ANDRITZ Group commercial and legal functions in Austria. Main working address of this position is in Denmark (Esbjerg) and report to our Sales Manager Europe of ANDRITZ FBT. As our Contract Specialist you are responsible for: Examination of tender documents, evaluation of criteria and contractual terms, and providing legal & commercial advice to regional sales functions Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions with customers in cooperation with regional sales managers Serve as one point of contact for customers and their legal advisors on contractual matters Build and negotiate contracts with project partners Develop and maintain standards for commercial contracts and quotation terms and conditions for the sales activities in the regions EU + MEA and further drive roll-out of standardization in the global sales network Ensure contractual compliance and follow up in the project execution phase Requirements We are looking for A specialist with a strong commercial mind set and substantial knowledge within this field combined with five to ten years of related working experience i.e. in the field of contract and customer negotiations internationally Educational background as Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Laws or similar Experience in ensuring contractual compliance to customers, not restricted to own business but also to sub-contractors and other stakeholders in the sales process High business understanding mastering and combining legal requirements with customer focus Strong communication skills and a result driven, self-disciplined behaviour Ability to work on your own initiative Driven by a desire to understand the business and comfortable when leading teams across the business in order to ensure results Analytical, structured and precise way of working High business proficiency in English both verbally and in writing In this job function you should be prepared to travel approximately 20-40 days per year.
