If yes - Then this is your chance to impact the future and join the Converter Electrical & High Voltage department Nacelle Power & Handling, Electrical Power & Control, Converter Electrical & High Voltage l Converter Electrical & High Voltage (CEHV) is a part of Electrical Power & Control (EPC), which again belongs to the Technology business unit. EPC is responsible for technology and product development of nearly all medium and low voltage electrical components in the turbines: Converters (both hardware and control SW), Electrical control cabinets, Transformers, Switchgears etc. CEHV is responsible for converter hardware and other medium voltage components. We host highly skilled engineering competencies inside these domains and deliver solutions to a wide range of cross functional portfolio projects like minor product optimizations, next generation turbines and new technology projects. Responsibilities As Power Electronics Engineer you will be a part of the Power Electronics team and report to the Converter Electrical & High Voltage Manager within Electrical Power & Control. Your main responsibilities and tasks will be: Lead technical part of Converter projects Specification and design of power electronic to converter systems Specification and design of filters for grid connected power converters Influence and drive solutions based on International standards and requirements Establishment of predicted failure rates for proposed designs Create Design Verification Plans/Procedures and conduct tests for design validation Set targets for how to qualify power components Establish Critical To Quality’s for principal components Review engineering designs Create and keep the overview of quality of relevant electrical products in field Participate in supplier quality evaluation You will be coaching and guiding colleagues as well as deliver own contribution to projects Qualifications The successful candidate: A bachelor/master in a relevant area, i.e. power electronics + 6 years of working experience with Power Electronic Experience from electrical design and power electronics Good English skills both orally and written Competencies The ideal candidate possess the following professional and personal competencies: Process oriented and a structured work style Proactive personality and you have the ability to lead your surroundings with your good communication skills and stakeholder management You are able to build, develop and maintain relationships in a global environment You should believe in and comply to our values of Collaboration, Simplicity and Accountability What we offer: We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, dynamic, high performing and international work environment in the renewable energy sector.
