In that case, you might be a candidate for the position as our next Project Manager at DONG Energy - Projects, where we are responsible for implementation of IT-enabled business projects. Therefore we need you, to further strengthen our internal project management team. Responsibilities and tasks As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing a specific Sales project in close co-operation with the sales business- and IT organisation. The Sales project is part of a larger programme that was started in 2013 and it is currently in a tender phase. The purpose of the Sales project is to streamline processes, improve customer service and reduce complexity in the IT setup that supports our business processes. The project requires efficient planning, stakeholder-, risk- and change-management and a clear focus on the Business Case. Your performance and use of our project model and tools must ensure a streamlined project and excellent results. Our projects are typically based on standard systems (including SAP and Endur), proprietary systems (e.g. .net or web-based solutions) and infrastructure. The Sales project will be based on a standard system (which has not yet been selected) and a number of web-based self-service solutions towards our end-customers. Your profile As a Project Manager it is important that you: . demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple large-sized IT-based business projects. . have a good understanding of the energy sector through practical experience. . hold a degree such as Master of Economics, Bachelor of Commerce, MSc. (Business Administration and Computer Science), Computer Scientist, engineer or equivalent. . quickly acquaint yourself with business rationale and you have a good understanding of business processes. . are good at building bridges between business and IT. . are a strong communicator, capable of presenting and communicating difficult messages in a distinct and clear way. . Moreover, you have international experience and are used to communicate and work in English. . are visible, responsive and good at working across demarcation lines, cultures and borders. are robust and gain trust and respect from your peers. Others will soon notice that you work in a structured way and have good analytical skills. Above all, you are result-oriented, responsive and business-minded and want to be part of shaping the future of a leading green and integrated energy company that cover the entire value chain. At present time, you probably work as a Project Manager at a consultancy company or large organisation, where IT is critical to the success of the business. Finally, experience with management of projects where offshore delivery teams are involved is an advantage.
