We are looking for highly qualified candidate to manage our Blade Commodities globally and across Siemens in order to foster cross-functional alignment within area of responsibility to ensure best in class organization. What are my responsibilities? Coordinating and managing a virtual/disciplinary, cross-functional team globally. Define Commodity and sub-commodity structure and organization. Ensure Purchase Volume transparency globally, amongst others, by correct material grouping to ensure a correct reporting and to derive an appropriate commodity strategy. Commodity strategies and Pooling strategies Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Forster the usage of e-Procurement tools and ensuring that contract structures are transferable in e-Catalogues to improve the Procurement process and efficiency. Other working areas: Knowledge management, Risk and opportunity management, Supplier management. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Bachelor+ degree (Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Electricals ) as an educational background. 7+ years of professional experience in a international environment within the areas of strategic procurement or supply chain management. You are an experienced negotiator with a proven track record and strong analytical skills. You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments. As a person you are highly motivated, open minded and able to work independently. You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office tools. You prefer working in groups, including groups with different backgrounds and origins. Take responsibility and work towards planning targets, overcoming obstacles, setbacks and uncertainty In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
