Then have a closer look at this unique opportunity as Global Sales Pipeline Manager and become part of the Global Sales and Marketing Program (SMP) within the Global Sales Excellence Team of Danfoss Power Electronics Division. Global Sales Excellence SMP is a new department reporting directly to the Global Sales Excellence Director. The new department is working very closely together with global and regional sales and marketing on commercial matters regarding Sales Pipeline Management: Starting with lead, opportunity and quotation as sales pipeline integrators and ending with value selling proposal to the end customer. This position is a central function which manages the global Lead to Order Processes in order to facilitate sales pipeline, sales forecast and portfolio planning as well as the annual commercial strategy process. In addition, the department will act as program office for strategic initiatives within the global sales organization. As a Global Sales Pipeline Manager, you will work closely together with stakeholders in other central functions such as Global Sales, Supply Chain Planning, Service and Finance, and not least with the regional business units in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific. Responsibilities The position reports to Director Sales and Marketing Program. You will be responsible for continuously developing Danfoss Power Electronics global sales pipeline management governance model and associated sales processes. The position also includes responsibility for the business ownership of CRM system (SAP CRM/Salesforce), including interface with Group IT. You are also expected to be able to contribute to the commercial strategy process and strategic initiatives within the Lead to Order area. To succeed in this role you must be able to understand and simplify very complex processes. Main responsibilities are: •Drive the further development of the global sales pipeline management governance model and associated sales processes •Ensure CRM and other sales systems support the sales pipeline process optimization efforts •Project manage roll-outs of revisions to new sales processes related to CRM •Establish regular standard or accustomed reports/dashboards on data and sales process qualitative •Creating quarterly forecasts based on sales pipeline indicators and other variables to support regional business units turnover and profitability, •Constantly focusing on deploying best practice, efficiency and performance across regions. •Further development of the Value Selling Tool and Reporting of Value Selling Tool usage •Coordination and interface between Sales organization and Product Management •Value Selling Training In this role you are expected to be able to navigate across a matrix organization and guide collaboration partners in relevant group functions and regional business units. We are looking for Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding and knowledge of sales and sales processes coming from a large international sales organisation or a top tier consulting firm with 2-5 years of sales (internal or external) or sales planning and forecasting/ sales process optimization. With a degree in business/economics, you are experienced with CRM improvement projects in SAP, Salesforce would be a definite advantage.
