Then you might be the right candidate for the role as Group Environmental Specialist Job Profile: As Group Environmental Specialist you: Collect trends and knowledge related to environmental issues and continuously keep yourself updated on state-of-the-art for environment within shoe and leather production, retail and administration. Explore new opportunities and risks related to environmental issues. Challenge the self-perception of ECCO’s business to constantly improve the environmental performance and transform trends and knowledge into strategic objectives in ECCO. Contribute to ECCO’s Corporate Strategy by position papers on environmental initiatives. Act as an internal advisor to our business units’ environment officers. Maintain policies related to environment on Group level. Ensure ECCO’s standards conforms to the changing requirements within legislation. Responsible for reporting on environmental issues and preparation to the Annual Report. Develop environmental measures for the Logistics area. Investigate Carbon Footprint and initiate relevant initiatives for the ECCO value chain. Develop KPI’s related to environmental issues. Develop tools and routines to support the implementation. Follow up on internal implementation and assurance of policies and procedures. Work on projects within ECCO’s global organisation. Qualifications and Work Experience: The position requires that you have a good business understanding and a strong ability to transfer knowledge into business value. You have a drive for working in a team with a broad variety of tasks at a strategic level. Ideally, you have 3-4 years of hands on experience within the environmental field in a global perspective. You have a relevant educational background at Bachelor or Master level, e.g. resource management, chemical or environmental engineer. Limited travelling days must be expected. Corporate language is English which you master in both writing and speech. As a person you: Are open, flexible and thrive in an organization with a rapidly changing environment.
