For Service Wind Power, part of Energy Service, we are looking for a highly experienced, self-driven professional to head our Communication activities for the business unit. This position is newly established, and the right candidate will therefore get broad degrees of freedom in scoping this position together with the Service Wind Power management team and the Head of Communications for Energy Service. What are my responsibilities? · Full P&L responsibility of a department, consisting of four communication specialists · Develop annual communication plans for Service Wind Power based on the overall communication plans for Energy Service, and drive the derived communication activities (in consultation with the respective the CEO of Service Wind Power and the Head of Communication for Energy Service) · Instruct external service providers in implementing communications activities and oversee trade press activities (in close collaboration with the communications team from Energy Service) · Measure success and monitor communication activities as part of your active participation in the inter-departmental work to improve communication of the Energy Sector · Observe and analyze communication activities of competitors or best-in-class companies As a Head of Communications for Service Wind Power you will report disciplinary into the Head of HR, based in Brande, but functionally into the Head of Communications for Service Energy, based in Orlando. The Head of Communications for Service Wind Power will be based in Brande but is expected to travel up to 25% of his/her time What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a University degree in communications, media studies, or comparable fields and several years of professional experience in the different communication disciplines. Your background has given you a comprehensive knowledge of relevant communication channels and tools, i.e. how they work and how they interact · You have proven experience in development of communication concepts and realization of communication projects in a matrix organization with dual setups · You posses strong business acumen and are able to translate business decisions into communications. Moreover, you are familiar with handling the press · You are used to work on an international basis and managing a small, but dynamic team · You are self-confident about your own tasks and goals and take initiative by e.g. actively seeking the dialogue. As such you interact perfectly with individuals at all levels of the organization and from different cultures In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
