The Foundation is organized as a Danish commercial foundation having the overall objective to ensure the continued development of the Grundfos Group on a sound financial basis. Besides fulfilling the main objective the Foundation is involved in development projects in less developed countries, as well as charity work in Denmark. In addition hereto the Foundation sponsors the Grundfos Prize, the Poul Due Jensen Scholarship and the Poul Due Jensen Innovation Award. The newly established secretariat of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation has started a professionalization of its activities towards a more proactive approach. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? The Poul Due Jensen Foundation is looking for a result oriented project development specialist with strong networking and communication skills. You communicate with authority at all levels, have a great deal of patience and experience in working closely with NGO’s, governmental bodies and service providers. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation you will: • Facilitate the development of a more proactive strategy for the donation activities within the Poul Due Jensen Foundation • Lead the development and execution of new projects in line with the agreed strategy • Evaluate incoming applications for support and donations and prepare thorough recommendation reports for the Executive Director and the Donation Board • Follow-up on existing projects and ensure execution in line with the agreed terms • Work closely with NGO’s, governmental bodies and different types of service providers in order to ensure appropriate execution of existing projects and development of new projects • Plan and coordinate the yearly prize event including the Grundfos Prize, the Poul Due Jensen Scholarship and the Poul Due Jensen Innovation Award. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? Are you experienced in working closely with NGOs, governmental bodies and service providers in industrialized as well as in developing countries? We expect that you: • Hold a university degree • Have experience from working with NGO’s and governmental bodies • Are experienced in strategy development and project management • Hold a high degree of professional integrity and a humanitarian mind-set • You stay focused on the details and search for, recommend, and initiate appropriate solutions • Are cooperative and solution oriented You will work at the Grundfos facilities in Bjerringbro along with the rest of the secretariat. The nature of your work will involve travelling between 20 and 30 days per year.
