For our Nacelle plant in Brande we are looking for a Head of Production System (SPS) to continuously seek ways to improve our processes for our employees and customers, through use of the Siemens Production System. This role leads directly and cross functionally and is a key position in the management team in Plant Brande. Based on Siemens values you will act as a role model for others and ensure line-of-sight between individual targets and corporate goals. You will continuously benchmark and improve processes owned to set and maintain a World Class manufacturing setup – delivered through use of SPS. What are my responsibilities? · Ensure competence development regarding Lean and continuous improvement methods, tools and processes across all organisational levels of the manufacturing unit · Secure an improvement strategy is carried out, supported by Lean roadmaps for all Plant Brande organisations to enable us becoming a competitive advantage for the entire supply chain · Identify potential talent and develop candidates to secure a continuous high competence level · Promote personal development of direct reports and create career plan for identified talents · Monitor performance metrics to identify potential areas of improvement. Ensure KPI dashboards are synchronised to secure an unambiguous message is sent · Create and facilitate documentation of value add measures to ensure valid business cases for the Plant Brande Business Administration · Advocate Zero Harm culture by promoting risk assessments and general EHS awareness in all activities set forth to secure our employees and guests return safely home from Siemens · Advocate Zero Defect culture by establishing and actively supporting a train the trainer approach in order to get practical problem solving techniques rolled out in Plant Brande · Apply principles of policy deployment in breaking down performance targets for individuals · Regularly review target relevance and achievement and lead accordingly · Strengthen the identity of Plant Brande management, build mutual trust and cooperation with our interfaces What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have at least 10 years of experience. You have experience of SPS, LEAN, production related functions and/or project management with a high technical focus · You are an experienced manager with management experience of small and also cross functional teams (>100 people) and you know how to inspire and motivate your team · You are a skilled communicator and able to navigate in a multicultural environment · You speak and write fluent English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
