For our SAP Department we are looking for a SAP BI Designer / Consultant to be a part of our team of experienced consultants. The SAP Team is part of the IT Applications Management Department. It is responsible for analyzing and guiding the business regarding the demand for SAP modules. It is expected to identify problems and significantly improve performance, change and adapt existing methods and techniques for the benefit of the overall business. Siemens has over the years a professional set-up that enables the consultants, in close connection with the business, to work effectively and focused, following release plans, documentation and performance evaluation, using some of the newest SAP-tools in a global context. What are my responsibilities? · You are responsible for the designing, planning and controlling of new solutions, changes to existing solutions, governance of the technical solution, quality and change management and demand management · You can identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt methods and techniques · You can transfer business requirements into functional specifications / SAP configurations · You are able identify / create different solution options to business problems · You can proactively guide the business in exploiting the SAP application in pursuit of business excellence · You will participate as a key member in several projects in the important phases of a project What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are able to see both the business challenges and the options from SAP enabling you to customize efficient solutions for business purposes. You probably have experience from a similar project and production oriented SAP installation · You have a good understanding of business issues and processes · You know your SAP module (BI) · You possess good consulting skills · You are a strong communicator and can handle both your customers and can motivate your team and project colleagues · You have a structured and systematic work approach · As a person you are dynamic and have a proactive approach to work tasks · You possess a pragmatic and positive mindset · You are open-minded and like to work in a multi-cultural environment · You possess good English skills - both orally and in writing.
