The Technology function in Siemens Wind Power is looking for a student assistant to the Process Manager for our Product Development Process. Technology is where our new products are created and developed, and in the Quality Management in Projects team we support the project managers in setting up the process to suit their individual project needs. The position involves a wide range of interfaces to other functions and departments, inside and outside of Technology, so the successful candidate must be extrovert and communicative. Attention to detail is important, while never losing the overview of the development projects from the top down. Working for Quality Management in Projects you will become part of team of 4 student assistants who provide support to all development projects in Siemens Wind Power. It is an excellent position in which to observe and learn the development process from the inside, as well as contribute with your own ideas to the improvement of our IT systems. What are my responsibilities? · Creating and maintaining standard deliverable lists for different domains of the development projects together with technology owners and department heads · Tailoring deliverable lists for individual projects, based on the standard deliverables, together with project managers and project stakeholders · Maintaining the overview of project deliverables per milestone and gate in our Sharepoint-based deliverable database · Contribute to the planned development of our IT solution for project management support · Taking part in the daily administration of our Sharepont system What do I need to qualify for this job? · The ideal candidate is approaching the end of his/her studies as M.Sc. within the area of product development management and/or IT. · A strong interest in and preferably experience with Sharepoint is essential to the position. · A self starter by nature and a quality as well as detail oriented approach in managing your tasks. · Great communication skills and fluency in English – both verbally and in writing.
