Would you like to try out your people management skills while maintaining technical involvement? Join us as Head of our Transfer team in WTG Integrity Management. Together with three colleagues, you are in charge of all technical transfer aspects including Take Over Certificates, Operations & Maintenance design reviews, OEM cooperation and technical contract negotiations and much more for our WTGs. WTG Integrity Management is part of Global Operations in Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling to our locations in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Head of Transfer, you head one of the three teams in the WTG Integrity Management department which is responsible for the overall WTG integrity management of turbines in operation. Your primary focus involves managing day-to-day task prioritisation, tracking and securing team objectives while keeping the team motivated and result-oriented. You are also responsible for providing critical input to department strategy, processes and overall business targets. You become a member of Asset Integrity Management’s extended leadership group consisting of highly motivated managers. This offers you a great opportunity to impact Asset Integrity Management’s strategy and roadmap. Moreover, you contribute with technical expertise in connection with OPEX and WTG supply contract tendering. To ensure structured and well-documented WTG operation, you work with asset integrity management systems (AIM, ISO55000). Technical risk registers and WTG masters form the backbone of your work on optimisation of WTG integrity. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •facilitate, develop and implement best practices for the team •develop key competences within the team through people review and development plans •coach each team member to achieve better results by ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and by securing the quality of the results by review and sparring •contribute directly with your technical skills to solve technical issues. Your profile You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or similar supplemented with knowledge of WTG contacts and quality issues. Ideally, you have some experience with managing people. You may be an engineer with drive, motivation and some years of relevant experience, looking for an opportunity to manage your first team. Ideally, you hold a degree in business administration, such as HD, EBA or similar completed recently. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. It is an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well. In addition, you are able to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external partners.
