Did you know that Aalborg is the home of the world’s largest Wind Turbine Rotor Blade factory? At Siemens Wind Power A/S in Aalborg one of the largest blades for wind turbines is created. It is 75 meters long and is produced with state of the art technology. Today, the factory employs almost 2,000 employees and takes up 104,000 m2 under roof. Siemens Wind Power A/S is constantly expanding and developing new ways of producing and creating flow in the production. For our Industrial Engineering department at the Blades Factory in Aalborg, we are looking for new employees to further innovate and improve the process specification and the solutions designs within the processes for painting and the final assembly of the blades. The main areas of concentration will be solutions of the daily processes in all our factories worldwide. The department is responsible for developing, specifying, qualifying, describing and optimizing the production processes and its equipment for various areas within blade production on a global level. We are a department, which can offer interesting tasks, nice colleagues, challenges from minor to larger projects with integration into the global technical organization. The organization is dynamic and provides good opportunities in order to develop and further educate the individual candidate. What are my responsibilities? · Specify and describe the paint and final assembly processes on new blades and existing blade types. · Continual improvement of processes on a global level. · Test and verification of materials used within painting and final assembly of the blades. · Involvement in projects related to manufacturing processes related to the above mentioned processes. · Overview of paint and final assembly materials and tools. · Overview and optimization of existing shop floor documentation. What do I need to qualify for this job? We expect you are technician, engineer or upholding a similar technical expertise competence. Experience within painting processes and composites are considered an advantage. Tasks in the global factories can be expected and therefore travel activities to factories around the world can occur. What we expect from you: · You are excellent at putting theory into practice. · You are a good communicator of practical and theoretical knowledge in e.g. training and education. · You are able to communicate effectively in English in both writing and speech. · You have great IT skills. · You are well organized and able to handle many simultaneous tasks. · You are able to communicate at all levels of the organization. · You have a positive attitude and are always ready to take on new challenges. · You are a good networker and able to find the optimal solutions.
