Industry Technology Specialist (Scientist), Technical Service, Household Care Europe
Are you a Scientist with a commercial mindset, passionate about creating value for our Household Care customers? Join Technical Service, a high-performance team working with European customers, creating sustainable solutions within the detergent industry.
In strong collaboration with our customers, you will work on improving their detergent formulations, you will use your creativity to demonstrate the benefits of our products, and you will use your innovation skills to develop new applications for enzymes within the Household Care category. In addition, you will collaborate with other Zymers in cross-functional and international teams.
We offer a challenging and exciting position with a large area of responsibility, a large degree of freedom in planning and mode of action in your work. A highly professional and international environment will help you to succeed in this challenge.
In this position you need to:
- Have a PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields plus 2-4 years’ relevant experience
- Have knowledge of detergent formulations and/or enzyme functionality
- Have excellent networking and communication skills
- Be proactive and have the ability to drive cross-functional projects
- Be fluent in spoken and written English – other languages are an advantage but not a pre-requisite
- Experience from working in the detergent industry or detergent ingredient industry is an advantage, and you must have the capability and willingness to travel as needed (about 30-50 days/year).
