For our IT Department in Denmark, we are looking for an experienced IT Enterprise Architect. The Portfolio Management department is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture and Service Portfolio Management for Wind Power Business. The Enterprise Architects are fundamental highly skilled and experienced experts within our IT organization. We operate in a global environment and are responsible for the design and implementation of IT applications and solutions in the Siemens Wind Power Business globally. It will be possible to work from either Brande or Vejle in Denmark or from our location in Hamburg, Germany. What are my responsibilities? · To understand business strategies, goals and objectives and breaking them down to business capabilities · To analyze and evaluate architectural trends and developments based on IT Strategy and changes in the IT market · To articulate the architectural vision for the entire enterprise and not just individual modules or technologies · Validate the whole enterprise architecture comprehending business, data, application and technology architecture components against business requirements and assumptions · Evaluate alternative architectural approaches on application, data and technology levels · Define architectural models and components and specify interfaces with the focus on entire domains-/ cross-domains · Enforce proper integration and link of different applications within the Enterprise · Contribute and support planning, budgeting, design and alignment of business processes and Enterprise IT Architectures · Advice business accountable management of the unit, in all Enterprise IT Architecture related issues · Prepare, plan and possibly execute trainings · Support the integration of necessary IT security guidelines · Support the definition of IT Services to support the Enterprise Architecture solutions and components What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have knowledge of business processes, several leading standards such as SAP, Teamcenter or SharePoint 2013 and best practices in IT solutions (applications and infrastructure) · You have done a range of professional studies and are familiar with ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF · You have experience in doing analysis and concepts pertaining to Enterprise IT Architecture Management (EAM) according to defined targets and processes in an assigned area of work, an assigned team or organizational unit · You have experience with analysis of As-is and to-be architecture considering business strategy, capabilities, processes and combine them with applications, data and technology architectures, e.g. using tools such as Mega, True or Alfabet (Planning IT) · You have solid understanding and experience in the integration of applications to databases and infrastructure · You are proactive and self-determined, you possess strong decision making skills and you are used to working in a multicultural environment · You are a dedicated team player with the ability to work and navigate in a dynamic and international environment with many interfaces · You are an excellent and persuasive communicator and fluent in both spoken and written English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
