We're ready to go live with our revolutionary app skinScan and we are looking for a Lead algorithm / image processing developer two take our system and software to the next level and that will be part of the journey and make a difference for millions of people.
Teleskin is a high-tech life science startup making hardware and software solutions for the early diagnosis of skin cancer, melanoma and other skin conditions. Our mobile solution is intended as assisting tool for skin self-examination by using image and history driven analysis. Using breakthrough imaging techniques, we offer a comprehensive end-to-end solution for the analysis of moles, lesions, and other skin conditions through a combination of dermoscopy, spectroscopy, and other cutting edge techniques. We believe that nobody should die from melanoma. Thus, we're on a mission two bend reality and build a new future in providing solutions for screening and monitoring melanoma and other skin cancers.
Over the past 5 years we have developed our technology and algorithm with doctors and specialists, tested our solutions on thousands of people with great results, having recently obtained CE marking and we are now ready to launch and commercialize our skin scan app in the European markets starting in Denmark, Scandinavia and the UK.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Your primary responsibilities and tasks would include:
- Algorithm development for digital image processing and interpretation (image analysis, machine learning, automation)
- Active involvement meant in planning, development and evaluation of algorithmic concepts and approaches.
Experience
We are looking for a team player with passion, capability and creativity. More over, your chances are good if you have:
- MSc / PhD in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Image Processing and related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in image processing algorithms with background in color analysis and reproduction, automated threshold selection, pattern recognition and segmentation, filtering
- Good software development practices / patterns / architecture, including unit testing, experience with development and test scenarios implementation for performance evaluation and well-dokumenteret code practice.
- Proven background in image processing in related industries
- High level of proficiency in C / C ++
- Knowledge of using image processing libraries like OpenCV
- Working knowledge of Python programming language and web application framework Django is a plus
- Working knowledge in MATLAB / Octave coding is a plus
