Can you further develop the strategy for our quality processes and take responsibility for a rigid implementation and maintenance within the organisation? Then this could be a unique chance for you to set your mark on the future development of our quality function in the Danfoss Refrigeration, Aircondition and Cooling business. It will be your mission to ensure a significant, continued reduction of customer line and field rejects according to the targets set (DPPM) and integrate ownership through visual leadership. You will be working in Nordborg and travel approx. 20 days per year. Improve and lead quality management We will rely on you to increase our quality level and mind-set across the entire value chain – both within our supply chain function and in processes involving more. This includes capability development in the organisation. Our organisation should be characterised by our quality standards in all functions and processes whether in Marketing/Sales, R&D, Procurement or Management, thus ensuring the best service, satisfaction and value proposition for our customers. Compliance to ISO/TS 16949 standard and compliance to customer-specific requirements will also be in focus. Your areas of responsibility will e.g. include: •Leading a highly motivated team of quality professionals •Setting quality targets, strategy and standards together with the team while supporting our business plans •Ensuring fast and proper reaction towards customer line and field rejects (quality of responses and claim handling time) •Ensuring fast and proper reaction towards internal nonconforming products and processes •Ensuring fast and proper reaction towards suppliers delivering nonconforming parts •Facilitating utilisation of core quality tools in relevant processes across the entire value chain – including also providing the necessary training and capability development •Securing TS 16949 audits and compliance together with managers, employees in the quality organisation and other functional leaders •Assuring clear communication around quality KPIs, on-going initiatives and future requirements •Managing our internal operation laboratory, assuring detailed product audits to specifications •Supporting close and effective cooperation between the supply chain functions •Being an active and contributing member of the supply chain management team Solid change management experience and with a heart for quality Your educational background is probably a BSc/MSc in engineering, and you have exhaustive experience in quality management and profound knowledge of quality standards and quality systems. You have experience from developing, implementing and sustaining processes in one or more large and international organisations, and you have solid change management and Lean skills. You come with a clear understanding of customer requirements with regard to quality, and you are not afraid to challenge the existing processes and propose bold changes. You are dedicated to quality, have a healthy eye for detail, and you are an experienced communicator.
