Are you an experienced engineer, and would you like to use your skills to create IT solutions for optimising the production of green energy? Join us and become Lead Application Consultant in the IT department Energy Management which is responsible for delivering efficient and stable IT operations that support business processes in all business units. You will be part of our Smart Production team currently consisting of five competent colleagues who develop, monitor and maintain IT solutions for multiple departments in Wind Power & Thermal. The main technologies are OSIsoft, Wonderware and C#. We cooperate closely with business and other IT departments. Energy Management is part of Domain & Shared Systems that is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group IT, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in either Skærbæk near Fredericia or Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area, depending on your preference. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work, as the business units served are located in Virum, Skærbæk, Gentofte and the UK, and part of the IT organisation is based in Malaysia. Areas of responsibility As Lead Application Consultant you are part of the ongoing development of IT solutions for controlling, monitoring and analytics supporting optimisation of production and maintenance in Thermal and Wind Power. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •together with your team take the necessary initiatives to ensure stable and performing applications •participate in development in large projects across the organisation •participate in an on-call 24/7 duty on critical incidents on critical systems within own competence area •keep yourself up to date with technological possibilities and business strategy and participate in writing of designs for new implementations. Your profile You hold a relevant engineering degree and have a proven record of achievements in your field, preferably with a background in energy or IT. You are analytical and able to see and understand issues from different perspectives. The ability to understand the business and transform it into results and sparring on technical issues is critical to success, both in the short and long run. Furthermore, you are a key person to the business, project teams and colleagues in IT, always able to act as initiator, bridging different views and sharing knowledge in an open-minded and cooperative spirit. As a person, you are outgoing and able to establish good relationships with your colleagues and other business partners. You are comfortable working in a dynamic and complex environment. Finally, you are empathic, have a high drive and are strategic as well as pragmatic. As we operate in a highly international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently.
