Working with supplier management in the Distribution category for the LEGO Group, you will have the world as your playground. Take on a dual role As Manager, you will join Supplier Contracting & Development, a dedicated team of 3 Regional Account Managers with the commercial and purchasing responsibility for all logistics and distribution for the LEGO Group. On the one hand, you support your colleagues by aligning standard contracts for all agreements within the Distribution category. On the other hand, you have responsibility for a number of supplier accounts. In particular, your tasks include: Developing, renewing and maintaining supplier relationships, consolidating suppliers and ensuring they meet the service levels, capacity commitments and other contractual obligations Acting as the link into the Procurement Department, ensuring that principles, procedures and processes are aligned - and that we share learnings between the departments Seeking constant compliance within the team towards topics such as Code of Conduct, Contract Coverage and internal policies - in close collaboration with Supplier Account managers Providing supplier management support and training for employees on a broad range of procurement systems, i.e. EasyBuy and Vendor Creation Being globally responsible for using the Vendor Creation Process within the Distribution category Reach for the sky Working in the LEGO Group is about working together. This is a global function and you are centrally placed in Billund. Alternatively, you may be based out of London. Nevertheless, a natural part of your job is to travel to visit suppliers as well as internal LEGO Stakeholders. So, this job will take you travelling up to 50 days per year. Commercial understanding and procurement experience To be successful in this position, you are able to navigate between global standards, local needs as well as multiple stakeholders. Moreover, you can manage compliance in this environment, consolidating and identifying opportunities for change. To facilitate this, you: Hold a commercial degree combined with 2-3 years of procurement experience, i.e. sourcing, buying, vendor negotiations, contracts, etc. Are a strong, self-confident communicator who is at ease getting up in front of a crowd to convey a message or going out on your own to negotiate with suppliers Are positive and outgoing, and you are able to set direction and execute on your own within a defined framework Are able to collaborate broadly across borders and functions Communicate effortlessly in English - both spoken and written, and you are flexible and excited about travelling Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
