Do you have an aspiration to work with M&A on a global scale? Carlsberg Group Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is looking for a Manager to actively support the M&A agenda across the Carlsberg Group. Group M&A is responsible for all material inorganic initiatives in the Carlsberg Group involving all phases of transactions relating to acquisitions, joint-venture structures and divestitures. Group M&A will advise, co-ordinate or lead initiatives, and securing appropriate quality and governance in the process. M&A works in a matrix across functions across borders with exposure to senior teams in subsidiaries. Your responsibilities: •Manage cross functional due diligence processes, and co-ordinate results of due diligence •Perform financial modelling, valuations on transaction pre-/post due diligence, incl. sign-off from business-side •Develop and maintain valuation model of the Carlsberg Group (incl. key segments) •Project management of key M&A work-streams •Assist in in structuring and contract drafting (with tax and legal) •Negotiation-support •Post integration relating to M&A process, e.g. earn-outs, claims, signing to closing activities, transition of projects from M&A to the regional management) •Take responsibility of Carlsberg internal tasks, project toolbox, project-budgets, board-papers/ppt, Ad-hoc Board-support, monitoring of M&A-relevant information from investor-/banker community, internal training •Once you are into the job you will serve as the primary project leader in the execution of projects/assignments from start to finish, working closely with regions/countries and other outside advisors What will you bring to the role: •Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required •Experience from one of the Big 4 corporate finance advisory functions, investment banking, private equity and/or industry experience from cross border M&A will be preferred •Strong financial modelling, valuation and excel experience required •Demonstrated analytical skills, and highly developed Microsoft skills (Excel, Powerpoint) required. •Personal integrity, commitment to continuous learning, see the "big picture" as well as the details, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties •Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule as projects dictates •Organized and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects/priorities in a project oriented environment. •Ideally first-hand international working experience, preferably with a company based in a country other than the home country for over 1year •Good communication- and networking skills, and ability to work in a Global organization with several interfaces and decision makers •The ideal candidate is ambitious, result oriented and possesses a relentless drive •Fluency in English You will be based at the headquarters in Copenhagen and report to the VP Group M&A. You must be prepared to travel when projects require your support abroad, occasionally at short notice, and probably around 30-60 nights per year.
