The position we offer We are looking for a Business Chief Information Officer (BCIO) for the Master data departments within Customer and Counterparty. The domain has the responsibility for all systems covering the Customer and Counterparty processes in the bank. Today, this is covered by a huge number of systems and applications in a much diversified technology landscape and you will have a key role within our department to lead this journey to simplify the system landscape based on business priorities. High operation availability, maintainability as well of extendibility is key words in this. Customer and Counterparty works in an agile setup which you will be part of facilitating - this will mean continuously working on improving our way of working by having focus on learning, innovation and removing impediments in daily work. In order to meet the Great Customer Experience, you will be responsible for maintaining the fruitful partnerships with business partners, IT line managers, project managers and other stakeholders securing transparent communication and expectation management. The Customer and Counterparty domain provides applications and services to optimise the customer processes globally. This means creating the golden record for customers and business partners, ensure high data quality, use of external data sources, customer analytics and calculations, hierarchies, compliance with sector regulations, segmentation, and provide it to all of Nordea in a common service interface. You will be involved in several ongoing and upcoming initiatives all of them with focus on compliance, simplification and digitalisation. As BCIO you will be leading a cross border team of approx. 20-50 people. Customer and Counterparty IT is part of IT Retail Banking and we are located in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Frederica, and Gothenburg. We support business partners across the whole of Nordea, which means that some traveling can be expected – approx. 15-20 days per year. The qualifications you need You are a proven leader with strong execution focus, as well as excellent people skills and a hands-on approach. We expect you to have experience as an agile leader, and that you have high interest in leading and developing teams and people, combined with a strong belief in the value of team-work. You have experience of working with distributed development teams. As a person, you have a strong drive and are very result-oriented. You are structured and have good problem-solving skills. You also have a proven record of excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You have strong English communication skills.
