For our Generator Team in the Technology Department in Brande we are looking for highly skilled mechanical engineer. As a mechanical engineer you will be a part of a multi skilled generator project team – we are looking for 3 candidates; one specializing in cooling, one in bearings and one in general mechanics. Our team primarily supports the production of our Direct Drive generators – but also Procurement, Service, Sales and Projects – to comply with our quality requirements, improve our designs and support our sourcing strategy. What are my responsibilities? · Technical disposition for quality Non Conformance reports within one of the technology areas: o Cooling o Bearing o General mechanics · Define specifications and implement design improvements · Be technical responsible for supplier qualification/selection · Engage in production meetings and sourcing teams. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background as a Mechanical Engineer, a Bachelor of Technology, Management and Marine Engineering or similar – it will be an advantage if you also have a craftsman background · You have a very practical and hands-on approach to your tasks · You can follow up on your tasks and finish them · As a person you are detail-oriented, while you striving for improving design · You are driven by a true interest in mechanical design and you aim for a high quality standard · You thrive in a multicultural environment and are able to communicate with people on all levels in a large scale organization · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing You can expect some travel activities In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
