For our Demand Management & Local Delivery department we are looking for an experienced IT professional to join the team in Brande at the earliest opportunity. In the role as Service Management Professional you will be part of a dedicated team that delivers local services to the Wind Power organization in close collaboration with Global IT. The business relies heavily on your competencies as their performance depends on the services delivered. Currently the department consists of 15 dedicated employees divided into small teams covering; Sales & Services, SCM & Engineering, Financials, and Management &Support - each ensuring that the portfolio of services are managed according to the agreements. As a Service Management Professional your main responsibilities will cover: · Act as an interface between Siemens Wind Power and the IT organization thus ensuring the right match of expectations between the business’ needs and IT deliverables · Identify IT service or solution related business goals, objectives and needs of the business environment · Oversee IT service or solution related performance and delivery indicators · Contribute to and support planning, budgeting, design and alignment of service management processes and IT solutions landscapes · Support customization and specifications of modules and applications, and facilitates IT service management processes · Advice business accountable management of the unit in all IT Service & Solution Management related issues · Implement programs and procedures for safeguarding data/information security and safety · Coordinate relevant unit and integration tests, and designs and documents new processes · Communicate with vendors and service providers on an accountable level to solve principle local IT problems, or cooperates with central IT in that respect · Drive principle IT change projects on-site · Support change-release processes and implementation of IT security guidelines · Manage complex software installations, database and update management; and complete integration to communication network · Identify IT service or solution problems and seek resolutions without impacting the end-user · May perform 2nd-level user help desk activities, individual coaching and trainings · Keeps abreast of developments in industry regarding IT Service and Solution Management What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a relevant educational background (e.g. as IT Engineer, Computer Scientist, M.Sc. in IT or similar) combined with 5+ years of proven expert experience in application management and in documenting customer requirements and system changes. · In addition, you are familiar with business processes ranging from finance to supply chain management, R&D as well as with IT tools used to support these processes. · As a person you are self-motivated and flexible, ready to handle changes and keep a swift pace. · You are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently and with others as circumstances will allow. · You have a structured and quality-oriented approach to your assignments, and you possess good communication skills as well as fluency in both spoken and written English.
