Service Equipment and Tools in Siemens Wind Power in Brande, Denmark is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can develop/design tools and constructions related to e.g. transport equipment. You will be defining and modifying existing designs and maintaining existing drawing material as documentation in our Team Center solution. Furthermore, you will be supporting service engineers and other stakeholders and participating in troubleshooting in different developing projects. What are my responsibilities? · Specialized development work in mechanical engineering, focusing on the design of special tools. · Setting objectives and delivering agreed results that have direct impact within the job area together with your team. · Identifying problems and significantly improving, changing or adapting existing methods and techniques. · Ensuring that all requirements specifications comply with Siemens guidelines. · Ensuring compliance with Siemens Zero Harm Policy and the Siemens Compliance System. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a degree in mechanical or marine engineering or equivalent. · Preferably you have experience with designs in NX, 3D CAD and 2D part drawings. · You are familiar with software simulation equipment. · You like to work with measurements and analyses and have a practical and solution-oriented approach to your assignments. · As a person you are innovative, structured and flexible. · You possess strong analytical skills and are able to interact at all levels in an international organization. · You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
