Lyngby Local Operations Ref.: MD-047516 In Maersk Drilling we are on the lookout for a performance improvement coach that can facilitate performance improvements offshore and train on drilling equipment across our global fleet of advanced drilling rigs. You can look forward to a position in an international environment. We Offer You will be one of 8 performance coaches in the Performance Optimization team of 17 dedicated members with competencies within project management, business analysis, performance improvement and offshore drilling. The section plays a key role in Maersk Drillings strategy to deliver added value to our customers by operating our rigs more efficient than competitors. You get to travel 160-190 days annually and will visit some of the markets most advanced rigs working for some of the largest and most professional operators. You will work on a rotation scheme with leave for the time you spent offshore. You will report to the Head of Performance Improvement in the head office in Lyngby, Denmark. You will visit Lyngby on a frequent basis to be part of the team and be trained extensively in the Maersk Drilling toolbox for managing and driving performance improvement on offshore rigs. The significant learning opportunity in the position will after a couple of years of successful performance in the role enable the employee with the right potential to advance in Maersk Drilling. Key Responsibilities As performance coach you will: .Work together with rig managers, customer and offshore managers to identify performance improvement potential, prioritise projects and mobilize crew to improve performance and processes. .Conduct interviews and observation studies offshore to identify improvement need and potential. .Make plans including time plan, budget and risk assessment for performance improvement projects and monitor progress on KPIs. .Create buy in from key stakeholders and support rig management in managing change. .Coach offshore crew on all levels during performance improvement projects. .Carry out technical on the job training on drilling equipment for new builds. Who we are looking for You have experience from drilling rigs or production industries and a relevant education on minimum bachelor level or a senior offshore background such as Senior Toolpusher, Tourpusher or other Supervisory positions. You have strong coaching and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to get people on board and drive change as well as the ability to create structure for others and put things in writing that give others clarity and direction.
