Product Manager, Kolding (flexible) – Industrial Refrigeration, Denmark JD Do you want to join our journey towards professional product management? And do you want to grow an ambitious business by developing your part of our strategic long-term perspective, materialising it into short-term tactical plans and executing them? Then perhaps you are the Product Manager we are looking for. You will be the manager of a product portfolio within the PL40 (Industrial Refrigeration) product group, being responsible for growing a profitable business within the product line globally. Industrial refrigeration is a B2B environment with focus on heavy machinery and production facilities. The place of work is preferably Kolding, but is flexible, and the position entails up to 60 travel days per year. Customer and job site visits will be part of the responsibility. Work out and deploy winning product strategies Your main responsibilities will be: •Commercial accountability for business results •Contributing to and influencing market-based pricing structure for your product portfolio •Identifying main improvement potentials within your products portfolio – technically as well as commercially •Following up on existing opportunities and identifying new ones within your product area •Evaluating category-specific project ideas in terms of strategic fit and overall business impact •Collaborating with supply chain managers and building up a strong competence network within your product area •Consulting sales team with in-depth product knowledge and driving value selling activities •Managing cross-functional product team Global mind-set and business acumen You have a relevant business background and education (engineering or marketing degree). Experience from the B2B area is necessary – preferably from the industrial/project environment. Ideally, you have several years of experience in the HVAC or refrigeration industry. It is essential that you have experience with Product Management responsibilities and toolbox, as well as experience from working in international and matrix environmentt. You have a strong customer, sales and marketing/service mind-set, and you are a self-starter with a strong ability to “move“ things. You have the ability to manage multiple projects, and are a strong team player and networker across various cultures and disciplines. Your global mind-set and excellent communication skills allow you to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organisation. As you will execute your plans with the support of individuals over whom you maintain no direct authority, we expect you to be self-confident and able to lead through others. Last, but not least, you are a well-organised individual with excellent analytical skills who is service-minded, self-motivated, ambitious and energetic.
