Are you a self-motivated, proactive project manager with excellent communication and networking skills, and do you want to help drive improvement projects? Join us and become Project Manager in Operations Continuous Improvement which is responsible for supporting the Operations departments in Wind Power. Your role will be to act as Project Manager on small continuous improvement projects. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to manage small improvement projects, such as improving the way technicians record time or improve the process of how we service our turbines. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have solid experience with delivering projects on time, in scope and on budget, and preferably that you have experience with managing improvement projects •have a proven track record showing how you can manage risks •have a relevant project management qualification and a Lean or Six Sigma certification or similar •speak and write English fluently as we operate in an international environment with a wide variety of stakeholders •are extremely self-driven, proactive and able to build your own networks quickly. You will report directly to the Head of Operations Continuous Improvement and be the only Project Manager in a geographically spread, small team of improvement and process specialists.
