Would you like to join our Price Desk team and help ensure continued development of our pricing skills and activities? Join us and become Pricing Analyst in the Trading & Portfolio Management department as part of the Exposure Management team, which is responsible for handling the energy exposures of DONG Energy. We are a team of 5 competent and committed people. The department is part of Customers & Markets, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields for the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Together with the rest of the Price Desk team, you are responsible for ensuring timely pricing of requests from our Sales department and other external counterparts in coordination with the trading floor, portfolio managers and other stakeholders within DONG Energy. You have the possibility of participating and managing ad hoc projects which the Price Desk team is involved in. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: . commercially back up and set prices for the sales force in DONG Energy for further contract negotiations . coordinate pricing activities across DONG Energy's footprint . handle trading requests from large Sales customers . communicate pricing concepts in a clear and convincing way . pro-actively and continuously contribute to pricing method and process improvements. Your profile You hold a master degree in economics and preferably you have work experience from a relevant position and an interest in the European energy market. You have a strong commercial understanding and an analytical approach to work, and you are able to communicate complex pricing concepts in a clear and convincing way. Experience with programming in Visual Basic is an advantage. As a person, you thrive on taking responsibility, and as you will have some interaction with Sales channels and Sales customers, it is essential that you have excellent collaboration and communication skills. It is an advantage if you master the German language. Lastly, you are able to work in a structured and self-driven way with attention to details.
