Larger wind turbines, further offshore and in a race to make sustainable energy competitive Do you possess profound project leadership skills, and are you passionate about the endless immensity of the sea to take us to the next level of offshore wind? Join us and become Project Manager in Wind Turbines Project Management, which is responsible for delivering best-in-class project management for development Wind Turbine Generator (WTG), logistics and WTG-relevant auxiliaries for our offshore wind farms. We are heading two types of projects; improvement projects with the aim to qualify a WTG platform, a module, for a portfolio of projects, and the WTG packages as part of each EPC asset projects. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility The core of our contribution during a project process is that we alternate uncertainty to certainty as we review each phase of the module maturation, project development and the sequences within execution of an asset project. We work according to a strong matrix project organisation and project management are according to PMI project management structure and terminology. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •handle the scope, mainly the Turbine Supply Agreement, installation contract and related interfaces for hardware including related services •be responsible for time, cost and quality and ensure due diligence on emerging risks •participate in business risk control (opportunities and large impact threats), both in own scope and across the entire asset lifecycle/EPC value chain •manage a project team of 10-25 people, including technical managers, contract managers, experts, engineers, client representatives and inspectors •develop project team members and peers, being a role model according to our five guiding principles, Integrity, Passion, Team, Results, Safety. Your profile You have bachelor's or master's degree and extensive experience with large infrastructure projects, including extensive experience with FIDIC and BIMCO contracts. High level knowledge of and experience with complex project management, including tool and method competence, financial management and risk assessment. You have the ability to adapt to change in project demands, and excel in change management processes. You will alse be called upon to maintain technical, commercial and legal overview within the project area. You adhere to the additional value creation as part of a project management team, whether across several improvement projects or as part of the EPC organisation. In this, you understand that your area of responsibility is one component of many others leading up to a successful result. You assure continuous maximisation of the overall end result by frequent interaction with key stakeholders.
