Project Specialist, Denmark based with some international travel This is an ideal opportunity to learn and develop within this technically complex and innovative area of the business. Job Profile: Supporting the Technical Advisor Strategic Projects, your role will be to follow up and report on all new product lines/material in the ECCO Group and, on selected projects, ensuring strategic alignment, communication and implementation of necessary activities, supporting solutions with relevant documentation and ensuring that activities are followed up from a budget control perspective. You will also assist in ensuring that the visualization of the status of product development is up to date, following up closely with production units on the status of development issues, taking action where necessary to ensure on time decisions are facilitated. You will have regular touch points with key stakeholders, including production development facilities in both Denmark and Portugal. You will also assist in the follow up of materials and leather development, based on quality and production readiness. Qualifications and Work Experience: A good grasp of the principles of project management is essential, along with the ability to multitask, learning quickly and thoroughly, whilst continually recognising and adapting to changing conditions. A strong sense of urgency is essential. A passion for developing yourself and continuing to learn and evolve within this role is important. As your line manager will be remotely based, you must also be confident in managing yourself and your tasks pro-actively, with little supervision. Confidence is key, but also knowing when to involve the relevant decision makers and stakeholders is critical. You will need to have a minimum Diploma/Bachelor degree in business administration or management, although technical background, process optimisation and project management would also be considered. Passion, commitment and enthusiasm for this area of the business are extremely important.
